Woodland Hills Real Estate
An upscale community tucked along the Santa Monica Mountains, Woodland Hills is a lush, family-friendly neighborhood. Located in the San Fernando Valley region and still within Los Angeles County, it borders Calabasas, Tarzana, and Topanga.
In the 1920s, Victor Girard Kleinberger purchased over 2800 acres in the place now called Woodland Hills. He sought to generate business and attract residents through building infrastructure, advertising, and planting over 120,000 trees. In the late 1940s, the community was incorporated into the Los Angeles Country and, due to the vast amount of planted trees, turned from Girard into Woodland Hills.
The most predominant style of houses in the Woodland Hills is mid-century architecture with flat roofs and spanning windows, where you’ll have the luxury of viewing the mountains and valley from right inside your home. Whether you’re looking for new construction builds, refurbished condos, or flashy estates, you’re sure to find the right fit.
